Oklahoma Connections to 9/11

The CIA's station chief in Germany at the time Mohamed Atta was operating his ring out of Hamburg, David Edgar, was recruited by former Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman David Boren to teach at the University of Oklahoma in August of 2001.  Boren was then serving as the university's president in Norman, Oklahoma.

Interestingly, David Edgar was part of the CIA team in Chile during the 1970s that was responsible for overthrowing the government of Salvador Allende.   Allende was overthrown on September 11, 1973 (emphasis added).

Boren is widely credited with having groomed George Tenet for his job as CIA Director.  Both Boren and Tenet were having breakfast at a posh hotel in Washington, D.C. when news of the 9/11 attacks reached Tenet.

Other persons related to 9/11 that were seen in and around Norman, Oklahoma prior to 9/11:

  • Nick Berg (loaned his laptop to an associate of Mouassaoui and may have purchased airline ticket for Ziad Jarrah used on 9/11)
  • Zacarias Moussaui
  • Mohamed Atta
  • Marwan al Shehhi
  • Nawaf al Hazmi
  • Osama bin Laden's pilot, Ihab Ali Nawawi, attend flight school in Norman in 1993

By coincidence, some of the alleged 9/11 hijackers held a meeting at the Sands Motel outside Oklahoma City where Timothy McVeigh stayed prior to bombing the Murrah Federal Building.

Declaring 2012 the year of truth with two new articles

Please see the new article from Dr. John Wyndham at the Journal of 9/11 Studies. It's entitled "The Pentagon Attack: Problems with Theories Alternative to Large Plane Impact." If the past is any indication, there should be plenty of feedback. Here is the abstract (and please excuse our home page because the site is under reconstruction):

The widespread belief among those who question the official account of 9/11, that a large plane did not hit the Pentagon on 9/11, is unsupported by the evidence. The failure of the 9/11 truth movement to reach consensus on this issue after almost a decade is largely due to a failure to rigorously apply the scientific method to each proposed theory. This paper, by so applying the evidence to each proposed theory, shows that a large plane hitting the Pentagon is by far the most plausible theory.

Additionally, here is a new blog entry from yours truly, entitled "The small world of 9/11 players: LS2, Vidient and AMEC."
Happy new year!
