According to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics website for departures, neither of the planes was scheduled to fly that day. After researchers noticed this anomaly, the data was suspiciously changed, leaving tell-tale signs that something wasn't quite right. For example on the modified schedule, the destinations and tail numbers for AA 11 and AA 77 were left blank unlike UA 175 and UA 93. ("Evidence that Flights AA 11 and AA 77 Did Not Exist on September 11, 2001; http://www.serendipity.li/wot/aa_flts/aa_flts.htm)
Is there a correlation between the original flight schedules, showing that two of the airlines weren't scheduled to fly and half the pilots being assigned at the last minute? Here is a nother piece of the puzzle from Blogger.com. ~ Bob Baldwin
