A friend of our movement has started a new White House petition asking to reinvestigate the collapse of WTC Building 7 on 9/11.
If you wonder what this is about, please see this 6 second video clip of the building collapse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj487RNAi14
Yes, this 47 floor skyscraper came down in only 6 seconds, and the US goverment said it happened because of office fires. But engineers say never before has a steel frame building collapsed like this. I am no engineer, but I can tell this building is not collapsing due to fire. So I think they should reinvestigate the collapse of WTC-7. What do you think?
Please sign the petition, and forward to your friends and family: http://www.whitehouse.gov/AbjB

"Building Peace in the Age of Drone Warfare"
A Talk by Medea Benjamin
Tuesday, March 19, 2013
First Christian Church (in the Great Hall)
205 E. Kirkwood Ave.
On the 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, join us in listening to and talking with renowned Peace activist, organizer, and author Medea Benjamin in Bloomington, Indiana.
Time for questions and answers will follow Medea Benjamin's audio-visual presentation. Copies of Medea's book Drone Warfare will be available for purchase. A reception with refreshments and book signing will conclude the evening.
Benjamin is co-founder of the women's peace group Code Pink and the international human rights organization Global Exchange and has authored or co-authored nine books.
Benjamin's latest book, Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control was published in 2012 and is the main subject of her talk in Bloomington. She is one of the world's experts on — and opponents of — drone warfare. She has recently visited families whose lives have been shattered by U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan and will speak about these experiences during her talk.
Benjamin contends that drone warfare — which the Obama administration has expanded in its war against Al Qaeda and others — is illegal, immoral and counter-productive. "Sometimes the target is killed and sometimes the intelligence is faulty and a sleeping family or a wedding party bears the brunt of miscalculation. At all times, however, the Taliban [and other U.S. opponents] capitalize on the ensuing mayhem and gain new recruits," she writes in her book, Drone Warfare. Secret legal findings by the Obama administration permit the intelligence agencies to target even U.S. citizens.
Medea Benjamin's talk in Bloomington is free and open to the public. Donations accepted.
Co-sponsored by Women's International League for Peace & Freedom, Bloomington branch; Just Peace Task Force of the Unitarian Universalist Church, Bloomington; and Bloomington Peace Action Coalition.
